The first time I saw the work of legendary artist Eyvind Earle was when I was visiting Roswell Book Binding some months ago. They were working on
The Complete Christmas Card Art of Eyvind Earle, a publication that was quite large, and full of beautiful color images of his holiday illustrations and famous Christmas cards. I was captivated by his style that is reminiscent of the art deco era.
If you haven't heard of him, you for sure have seen some of his work. He as worked for the Walt Disney Studios as an illustrator for productions such as Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, and more. He also painted the diorama for Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland in Southern California.
